What is Konjac?

Konjac is a natural plant known for its health benefits. It is grown in the mountains of East Asia. We use the extracted fiber from the plant's root and mix it with water to create delicious, healthy foods!


Story of Well Lean Shirataki

Phillip Duong wanted to find a satisfying low-carb food that his mother would enjoy because she suffers from diabetes. He endlessly searched online and stumbled upon noodles called shirataki. After discovering all the positive health benefits of this amazing plant-based food he decided to order some online. To his discovery, the konjac noodles he ordered had an off-putting texture and smell to them. He decided to perfect the food by making his own and that is how Well Lean Noodles were born. By infusing a small amount of oat fiber and creating a unique cooking method, Phillip successfully created the perfect tasting noodle with all the included health perks that people enjoyed.
